Working in Cameroon
Working at The Bridge International School means becoming part of a dedicated and enthusiastic team of teachers and administrators recruited from within Cameroon and abroad.
We have small class sizes, our average number from Day-Care to Year 13 is 15 students per class. The Early Years (Day Care – Nursey) classes follow the pedagogy of the UK National system and a blend of the Maria Montessori philosophy, delivering a curriculum designed by our teachers to meet the educational and developmental needs of our learners.
The Cambridge International Examinations programmes are being taught here in Primary, Secondary (IGCSE) and Sixth Form (Advanced Subsidiary Level and Advanced Level in Years 12 and 13).
We expect our teachers to have a relevant first degree and teaching certificates, and experience with any of the Cambridge Primary International Programme, Cambridge Secondary 1, IGCSEs and GCE, Cambridge A/S and A/L. A non-conviction form and a good health certificate are also required for every member of staff.
We are committed to the continuing professional development of our staff, through in-house workshops, on-line training with CIE.
At the Bridge International School, we are always looking for talented members of staff to join us. If you think you may be interested, please send your CV, with details of three referees, together with a letter of application to firstname.lastname@example.org. Your details will be kept in our database and you will be contacted directly should a suitable position arise. International-hire posts are also advertised through the guardian newspaper and in the TES.
